Lyric can provide truly professional musicians that will give you the ambience you want for your special day, whether it be solo cello to classical quartet. With our string ensembles, we can add harp, flute, oboe, clarinet or saxophone to give you a different sound for your wedding. We also provide our own sound system, which, when mixed with backing tracks make the smaller ensembles sound fabulous.
We can provide you with the great big band sound from the Blue Notes Swing band, ranging in size from an eight piece to a sixteen piece with our unique singers.

Promenade Ensemble
Founded in 1984 by members of the former NSO of SABC, we are a group of professional musicians bound by the same concept that music is an integral part of life as old as mankind. Over the years, we have accumulated a vast repertoire of light classics and contemporary pop, the latest commissioned to Peter McLea, one of South Africa’s most talented arrangers/composers. The group has performed at public concerts for Classic FM, Walter Sizulu & Pretoria Botanical Gardens, Alice Art Gallery and at numerous private and corporate functions. Our repertoire includes amongst others, Classics/ South American Tangos/ Films & Musicals/ French Café/ Abba/ Carpenters/ Freddie Mercury/ Frank Sinatra/ Beatles/ Mama’s & Papa’s/ Evergreen favourites. We are able to provide our own sound system where neccessary. 
At present, members of the Promenade Ensemble are in the high ranks of the JPO, COSA & JFO. Mainly a string quartet, we can perform as a solo violin, duo, quintet or chamber orchestra.
