Ansunette Ferreira Fine Art Wedding Photography was created by a passion for photography and of growing up in the wedding industry. Ansunette studied photography to ensure that with the passion there is excellence in the technical side of capturing excellence of the bride and the groom in the moment. Due to the growing demand for DVD/videos with the photography, Ansunette researched videography and after acquiring some of the best digital video cameras on the market, she offered under her anointing, a DVD/video option with the photo packages at exceptional rates. In working closely with the videographer, there is a professional rapore between them to ensure common professional courtesy and space to allow each other to capture the day to full potential. In working together as a team, the photos taken during the day is interwoven into the video providing a professional and warm look and feel of the day. Ansunette was also awarded the best wedding student of the year in 2003 and still attends seminars and workshops from international photographers to keep up with the latest trend of photography in the rest of the world. Bookings come in from 1 month to 24 months prior to the couple’s date and to ensure that she gives her more than best on your special day; she only takes one wedding event for a day. A Little About Us...... Focus’s story began in 2004, when I was a Wits Fine Arts student, and landed my first freelance photographic job with Father Christmas in a shopping mall. It was love at first ‘click’ and thanks to encouragement from my husband (then boyfriend), Sean, ‘Focus Photography, by Leanne Russell’ was launched. We have since grown and evolved this small company to incorporate Sean’s full HD Video department, which, in early 2010, prompted the change of name to ‘Focus Photo Video’. We are now a Johannesburg-based husband and wife team, specialising in, but not limited to, weddings and portraiture. Both of us are fully qualified in what we do, and have years of experience in the wedding scene. We also lead a crew of experienced freelancers who are trained in our style, to bring you the option of multiple-camera packages for more diverse and extensive footage. We use only top of the range equipment, specifically chosen to perform well for those once-in-a-lifetime moments. And don’t forget the backup cameras, because accidents happen. A portable studio will also be on hand in case the weather doesn't cooperate! Our service and conduct is always personal, yet professional, both before and after the big day. Our style is unobtrusive, but comprehensive, and incorporates both posed and candid coverage. What's the use of having beautiful memories of the two of you, but no decent coverage of your guests, and more importantly, the general fun and happenings of the day?
