Glenburn Lodge

Glenburn Lodge is blessed with beautiful natural surroundings which makes this a wonderful option for brides who are longing for a country wedding – away from it all but close enough to town for easy access. Glenkyle venue and chapel rests in the shadow of the Zwartkops mountain, right on the Blaauwbankspruit. Glencove is reached by crossing a bridge over the Crocodile River into a forest landscape and our smaller tented camp venue is metres away from the Blaauwbankspruit.  All this beauty and tranquility is situated  in the “Cradle of Humankind -a mere 40 minutes from both Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Glenburn Lodge is equipped to handle weddings from ten to 300 guests in our variety wedding venues:

Glenkyle
Glenkyle is our largest wedding venue and accommodates up to 300 guests. With views over a waterfall and landscaped gardens and water features, it is a favourite with wedding photographers. Glenkyle features an open-sided, thatched Chapel seating up to 200 guests.

Glencove Country Venue
Celebrate your wedding in style at this beautiful riverside setting. With its open-sided gazebo-style chapel, lovely landscaped gardens and thatched reception area, Glencove, seats between 80 - 120 guests, if a dance floor is included.

Glenwillow
Bush Willow Tented Camp offers a fun-filled African alternative for weddings with its Boma, ten tents and heated swimming pool.The permanent tented camp accomodates up to 60 guests. Each tent hosts up to six guests and is equipped with a kitchenette, warm shower and toilet facilities. The whole camp may be booked out for the bridal party or a bachelors party at a very competitive rate. Standard furniture is provided but you are welcome to personalise the tent up according to you theme, with the help of a décor company.

Chicama Country Spa
Chicama Country Spa, situated at the entrance of Glenburn Lodge, offers a range of pampering and beauty treatments. The spa may be booked exclusively for your hen party or bridal celebrations. Couples massages in the couples therapy room comes high recommended to combat those pre-wedding stresses.
